CASE & HARWOOD LAKE ICE FISHING DERBY
RULES AND REGISTRATION

Each participant must be registered at Case, or Harwood Lake check-in-station and receive official tally sheet
·
Fish must be checked and measured in live condition by tournament judges:

New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) regulations must be followed.
·
All fishing license regulations must be followed. DEC usually stops by, so BRING YOUR LICENSE! All fish must be fairly caught, and live bait may be used (be sure to bring your BAIT CERTIFICATION). Prizes will be awarded based on total length of tallied fish, measured in whole inches. Fish must be at least 6 inches or legal limit per NYS DEC Regulations.

Maximum number of fish to be tallied is NYS DEC creel limit, even if fish are released.

Fishing hours are from 8:00am until 3:00pm on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at CASE LAKE, and on Sunday, February 21, 2010, at HARWOOD LAKEonly. Fishing other than
contest hours are not permitted.

Check-in station closes promptly at 3:30 pm. Tally sheets must be returned before 3:30 pm.

Individual found in violation of these rules will be disqualified. All judges’ decisions are final.

The sponsors of this tournament encourage catch and release tactics
·
fishing this area. RESPECT the area and those around you. NO PARKING in reserved areas.

Awards and prizes distributed at 4:30 p.m. at the Check-in Station.
·
Cash prizes determined by the number of registrants, 2/3 registration fee payout.

Bonus prizes & door prizes to be given at awards presentation – must be present to win
