On behalf of the Town of Franklinville, I welcome you to our website.
The town was settled in 1806, and established in 1824. We consist of 52 square miles located in the Ischua Valley where State Routes 16 and 98 run through our town. The Village of Franklinville is located in the town. We are located 1 hour south of Buffalo, N.Y., 2 hours southwest of Rochester, N.Y. and ½ hour north of Olean, N.Y.
We offer many recreation options for you. Case Lake and Ischua Creek offer great fishing. There are many snowmobile trails running through the town which is also home of the Franklinville Snowmobile club (www.franklinvillesnowmobileclub.com). Franklinville is a great place for the hunting big and small game. We are also a horse friendly town and many events are held at the Creekside Roundup north of the village (www.creekside-roundup.com). For downhill skiing, Ellicottville, NY. is 15 miles west of us.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to look at our website and I hope you can visit us in the future
