Trustee Gloria McCall
Gloria was born and raised in the Village of Franklinville, she started serving our community at the tender age of 7 years old when she would dip milk to fill customers milk bottles at the Jim Clark Farm located at the end of Pine Street in 1935. Gloria continued serving the community with a variety of jobs including delivering papers for the Olean Times Herald, working at Claude Cohoon’s watch shop and working in the Aerovox electric factory located on Elm Street during WWII.
In 1948, Gloria and her husband Lester Clark started a successful laundry and dry cleaning business on Pine Street. In 1948, the Clark’s purchased an acre of land on Chestnut Street extension where they designed and built their home, Gloria still resides in this beautiful home.
In 1953, Gloria and Lester purchased approximately 12.5 acres of land and subdivided the land into 11 separate parcels that became Crestview Drive in the Village of Franklinville. Gloria then began working in the banking industry in 1965, which at that time was the Union National Bank; today it is Community Bank, NA. Gloria retired from the bank in 1983.
Gloria has served on the Zoning Board since the late 1960’s where she continued to serve until 1998 when she became a Village Trustee. Gloria is currently serving her third term as a Trustee, she said, “I have always deemed it a privilege to serve my community. I have traveled all over the world but have always come home to the Village of Franklinville”
When Gloria completes this term as Trustee she will have served our community over 75 years!
Gloria has been a part of making our community a better place; we are all blessed for her commitment to the Village of Franklinville.
Trustee Ryan V. Jordan
Born 9 – 30 – 76 in Olean, NY to Neil and Brenda Jordan.
Graduated from high school at Portville Central School in June 1995
Graduated from JCC in May 1997 with an associates degree, with high honors
Graduated from Fredonia in August of 1999 with a bachelors degree in science with a certification in secondary education mathematics
Employed at Franklinville Central School since September of 1999 as a math teacher.
He has been a wrestling coach at the school for the past 11 seasons.
Member of the Franklinville little league board of directors and district safety manager.
Is an avid fisherman and hunter.
Married Jessica Palmatier from Franklinville in August of 2005.
We have had one child, Maria Anne Jordan born 2 – 29 – 08 and reside on First Avenue.
Has been a Village of Franklinville Trustee since April 2008, he enjoys working within his community and looks forward to helping the community progress.
Trustee Rick Bull
Rick Bull has spent the majority of his life in Franklinville. He graduated from Franklinville Central School in 1989 and was a star swimmer earning many accolades. After leaving for college, he returned to raise his family.
Rick coaches High School and club swimming for Franklinville along with youth football team and little league baseball teams. Rick is currently a school guidance counselor for the Andover School District.
Rick and his two sons Ricky and Matthew continue to reside in Franklinville where their home is located on Pine Street. Rick has deep family roots within the community as his grandfather and father was also very active in Franklinville.
Rick has been a Village Trustee since October 2008 and would like to continue to serve his community. |
